Avnet Electronics Inks Distribution Pact with Micross Components Trading Markets

Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas, a business region of Avnet, Inc., has signed a distribution agreement with high-reliability, memory producer silly bandz Micross Components (formerly Austin Semiconductor). The Company said the agreement will enable both companies to bring Micross Components' entire line of  ipad stylus QML-certified (qualified manufacturers list) and ISO 9001/AS9100 registered semiconductor products to the military, aerospace, transportation, industrial, embedded and medical markets. The agreement encompasses all of North America. According to a release, Micross Components offers one of the broadest lines of high-reliability memory products in the industry, offering both standard and specialty memory products, including SRAM, SDRAM, DDR and EEPROM. Micross sim cutter Components' current product offering also includes I/C components, multi-chip modules and integrated product solutions. Along with their line of high-reliability integrated plastic encapsulated microcircuits (iPEM), Micross also offers commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) up-screened products, as well as Solid State Disk on Chip (SSDoC) solutions. connection kit "The addition of Micross Components allows Avnet customers unprecedented access to a significant array of memory products that are Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) registered, apple peel SMD (Standard Military Drawing) compliant and QML-certified," said David Moore, director of defense/aerospace business development for Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas.
